How Skylight Hypnotherapy Helps

Hypnotherapy tools engage young people by inviting them play with the power of their minds. Some kids are drawn to the magic of it—discovering that they can create real change simply by focusing in a new way. Others enjoy learning the science behind how their brains respond. Many simply love the sense of calm and relief that comes from feeling more in control.

Testimonial:
"Talia met with my nine-year-old daughter to help with her anxiety. Talia’s calm, positive, and present demeanor created a relaxed, accepting atmosphere where my daughter felt seen and comfortable being herself. She took the time to get to know my daughter and explained how the brain works and how hypnotherapy can help. After the session, my daughter was noticeably calmer and happier—almost as if a weight had been lifted. She slept very soundly that night! My daughter is looking forward to her next session with Talia."

Testimonial:
"I am a 13-year-old middle schooler who sought out practicing with Talia to help with fainting episodes and anxiety. Working with Talia was fun, engaging, and helpful--even virtually!
She taught me what to do when I notice anxiety rising, like trying to distract myself with a different sensation, such as rubbing my hands together or squeezing them. These techniques were subtle so that no one would even notice me doing them regularly. She helped me understand how brains sometimes make us believe things that aren't always true. I was surprised by how some of the techniques we practiced really changed my perspective on how my brain does everyday things."
